A Word From the DEI Department
The Alpha Phi Iota Omicron Chapter is filled with sisters from different backgrounds and ways. DEI is a way for us to come together & celebrate our differences in an inclusive space. As a department, we are trying our best to make sure the voices of our sisters are being heard & to use our platform for activism about things our sisters are passionate about. Through our efforts in DEI we have done many amazing things as a chapter like donating to many local charities & businesses in the Worcester and Boston area, attending activism events, & holding educational meetings to help educate ourselves & others about the world around us. We are constantly learning from one & are constantly growing. Having a platform to raise awareness to issues presented in our current society & being able to make a difference in our community is something that we are so grateful for. We are proud of the progress Alpha Phi has made in our efforts to make a more inclusive environment here at WPI.
